Well, i just started last week so i will share with you what i've learned. I have started with windmills and flares. Dedicate a lot of time for practice and prepare for bruises! Breakdancing is hard on the body at first but the more you practice, the smoother your moves become and the less they hurt to do. Thats how its been for me anyway. Check out my video from my first day of windmill attempts. I am gonna post a new one soon because I have gotten a bit better. Watch as many videos as you can on move you would like to try. Watch them over and over and slow them down and do step by step. Think a lot before you do a move on how it should look and feel. Just pay attention to details and PRACTICE! I hope you get to practicing soon and post vids!
Yea, i was just practicing the baby freeze, hurts my knees real bad... i know what windmills are, but im going to check out what flares are. Thanx for feedback and I WILL post vids as i get better. ( not now tho, i dont want to embaress myself)

You should learn foundation before power. For footwork you should learn 1 step, 2 step, 3 step, 4 step, 6 step, and 12 step if you want to. Those are the most basic footwork. The other ones are just pretty much variations of the six step. You should also learn Basic Toprock and always practice it! Practicing Toprock adds your own style to it. You should also probably learn Ci Ci's, and all the Beginner Freezes, and Handstands.
